Some computer some in the real world

I did one last computer painting at my sisters the morning before we flew back home. This is the same view I did the night before, but with different light.

This is from this morning. Sharon and I went to the house I have been working on to paint some of the wonderful stone structures that are scattered through out the property.
This is from Weds. night.

Computer painting

I've been in Ohio this week visiting family and was unable to bring my oils on the plane. I decided the best thing to do was to paint on my lap top. Here are a couple of my better ones. This first one I did at our gate in Denver waiting to board the plane.
This was done at my sister's house.
We left early Thur morning, so I was still able to get in a Weds night figure session. I got this under painting done in an hour and decided to go home and get some sleep in stead of mucking it up by trying to put on some color.
This one I painted Tues. night. It is just a view of a wall in my studio.
And one more I just finished. This is another done at my sister's.

Sunday night already

Can you believe
it's Sunday night already.Earlier in the week I bought some roses for Debbie, They were so pretty I had to  paint one. I worked on this three separate evenings this past week. It turned out to be very rewarding.

This weekend has been very cold so standing out side painting was out of the question.  This inspired me to make a new easel for painting in my truck. I took it over to the town of Eldora and painted this. The next photo shows my set up.

Today I attempted to enlarge a painting I did awhile ago. I don't own the painting any more so I was working from my computer screen. I don't think I'll be doing that again. If I do it again, I'll print out a copy, or work from a real painting I still own. Still I guess it's not too bad.
This is from Weds night. I wanted to do something besides a portrait

Slow painting week

The only painting I got done this week are the two I made yesterday. They are both larger at 16x13.5 I think I am going to be working bigger a lot more often from now on. This first one is a view from Sawmill ponds,
one of my favorite places to paint. Leafless trees are a lot more challenging for me. These turned out pretty good.

This is the view north from another of my favorite haunts, the bottom of coal creek canyon on plain view road.
